After a few weeks to settle in, we’re delighted to announce our new dentists and new owners of Lightwood, Dr Oliver Godfrey and Dr Emily Osborne. They are thrilled to be working alongside Tony and the Lightwood Dental Care team and are looking forward to meeting and welcoming you into the practice and continuing the standard of care to which you have become accustomed to.
Whilst Dr Austin has sadly decided to retire his role at Lightwood Dental Care, we are delighted that Dr Tony Cowan has decided to stay on at the Practice. He will be working approximately two days per week.
The wider team members, including dental nurses, hygiene-therapists, admin staff and housekeeping will also all remain at Lightwood Dental Care.
On a professional note, Oliver and Emily completed their dental training in 2014, obtaining their degrees in Sheffield and Newcastle Universities respectively. Since then, they have both worked in several dental practices, gaining significant experience in general dentistry within the private sector. Having lived in Nottingham for the past few years, they decided to settle in the Peak District to be closer to family and to run a business in a part of the world they are both very fond of. Oliver and Emily are keen walkers and love nothing more than being in the great outdoors, hail, rain or shine! Their profiles can be found here.
